ব্যাক্তিজীবন ও জাতীয় উন্নয়ন করার পূর্বশর্ত হলো “শিক্ষা”। শিক্ষা মানুষকে নতুন করে বাচতে শেখায়। জীবন যুদ্ধে শক্তিশালী সৈনিকে পরিনত করে। বিশ্ব দ্রুত পরিবর্তনশীল। এই পরিবর্তনশীল বিশ্বের চ্যালেঞ্জ মোকাবেলা করে বাংলাদেশকে উন্নয়ন ও সমৃদ্ধির দিকে নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য দরকার সুশিক্ষিত জনশক্তি। দেশের জনগণ যখন জনশক্তি/জনসম্পদে পরিনত হবে তখনই দেশ উন্নয়নের দিকে ধাবিত হবে। আর জনগণকে জনশক্তি/জনসম্পদে পরিনত করার জন্য দরকার দায়িত্বশীল শিক্ষক জনগোষ্ঠী। একুশ শতকের চ্যালেঞ্জ মোকাবেলায় উন্নত বিশ্বের সংগে প্রতিযোগিতামূলক মানসিকতা নিয়ে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য আমাদের শিক্ষার্থীদের সক্ষম করে তোলাই আমাদের অন্যতম উদ্দেশ্য।
